Summary Emails
How do I set the frequency of my summary emails?
You can set up summary emails to be sent daily, weekly and/or monthly.
To schedule these emails:
- Choose ‘Setup’ from the top toolbar.
- Choose ‘General Notifications’ from the menu on the left.
- Use the toggle on the right side of each summary type to toggle 'on' the schedule.
Schedule of delivery:
- Daily
- Emails are delivered the morning of the day after.
- Weekly
- Emails are delivered on Monday morning for the previous week.
- Monthly
- Emails are delivered on the morning of the 1st for the previous month.
How can I receive summary emails for specific trackers, drivers, or groups?
To add or edit a summary email for a specific tracker or group:
- Choose 'Setup' from the top toolbar.
- Choose ‘General Notifications’ from the menu on the left.
- Click 'ADD NOTIFICATION' in the upper-right corner if you would like an additional email, or click 'Edit' (pencil icon) on the row of the summary email you would like to adjust.
- Under the '2. Trackers or Groups to Monitor' heading, select which category you would prefer.
- Add any 'Available' tracker, driver, or group in the left column to the 'Selected' column by clicking to highlight, then clicking the right arrow button. Your selection will then move into the 'Selected' column.
- Be sure to click 'Save' at the bottom of the edit screen.
How can I set the alerts included in my summary emails?
By default, alerts included in summary emails include: Harsh Braking, High Speed, Rapid Acceleration and Speeding.
To add alerts to the summary:
- Choose ‘Setup’ from the top toolbar.
- Choose ‘General Notifications’ from the menu on the left.
- Click 'Edit' (pencil icon) on the row of the summary email you would like to adjust.
- Under the '3. Alert Types' heading, add any 'Available' alerts in the left column to the 'Selected' alerts by clicking to highlight the alert, then clicking the right arrow button. The alert will then move into the 'Selected' column.
- Be sure to click 'Save' at the bottom of the edit screen.
How do I add or delete an email address from the summary email list?
To add or delete an email from the summary email mailing lists:
- Choose ‘Setup’ from the top toolbar.
- Choose ‘General Notifications’ from the menu on the left.
- Click 'Edit' (pencil icon) on the row of the summary email you would like to adjust.
- Scroll to the '4. Alert Delivery' heading.
- To delete an email address click the minus sign to the right of the email address you would like to delete.
- To add an email address click the plus sign to create a new line, then enter the email address in the text box.
- Be sure to click 'Save' at the bottom of the edit screen.
How do I turn off the summary email?
You can turn off the daily, weekly and/or monthly summary emails at any time.
- Choose ‘Setup’ from the top toolbar.
- Choose ‘General Notifications’ from the menu on the left.
- Use the toggle on the right side of each summary row to toggle 'off' the schedule.
Can I switch back to the old version of the Daily Summary Email?
You can still get a legacy daily email with the details that were provided before the Daily Summary Email was updated.
- Choose ‘Setup’ from the top toolbar.
- Choose ‘General Notifications’ from the menu on the left.
- Click the ‘Add Notification’ button on the top right of the page.
- Enter in a name for the notification.
- Select the vehicle(s), driver(s), or group(s) for which the notification applies.
- Choose which alerts you want for this notification.
- Choose ‘Daily frequency.’
- Enter email address(es) for those who should receive the notifications.
Note: Notifications can be sent to any valid email address.
- Click ‘Save.’
